Ibanda RDC Warns Residents on Demonstration

The resident district commissioner (RDC) for Ibanda Elias to Akatuheebwa has condemned the demonstration which was conducted by the supporters of Jane Bainomugisha as a way to express their grief towards the ruling of Tang Odoi that declared Jouvrin Kalisa as the NRM flag bearer for Ibanda district.
About 40 supporters yesterday Camped at NRM offices in ibanda town with posters accusing Tang Odoi of denouncing Jane Bainomugisha as Ibanda woman NRM flag bearer in favor of Hon Karisa Kyomukama after a vote recount that put her in second position .
In their demonstration, they demanded that the district NRM registrar should give an explanation of what transpired.
Elias to say that the demonstration should not target the NRM registrar of Ibanda since the matter is beyond his office.
