Earlier today, the National Resistance movement kick-started its process of picking interest forms at the NRM electoral commission headquarters in Kyadondo.
Members of the NRM party across the country rushed to pick nomination forms to contest for parliamentary seats.
According to the party Electoral Commission, Dr. Tang Odoi revealed that the exercise will end on 15th June.
Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa revealed that there are a lot of projects to be done in his constituency.
“For us, we are continuing with our developments and working on different projects like working healthy, electricity, education, distribution of water, working on roads among others and if given another term Ruhinda will be somewhere”.
The Rwamapara East MP Tusiime Julius Karuhanga also revealed to this website that his focus is on empowering women and skilling youth.

“Am forcusing on improving household income and other projects like working on roads, distribution of water, education among others which will see and improve welfare of people in my constitueancy”.
Amos Kankunda the MP for Rwampara County said that people from Rwampara approached him and requested him to contest again for what he has done for them.
“This is confirmation to show people from Rwampara approached me to pick this forms and I want to appreciate them for that and this is the time for me to start on other projects that were not switched on in previous years”
Dr. Tanga announced the nomination fees: UGX 3 million for Members of Parliament, UGX 1.5 million for Lord Mayor Candidates, and UGX 1 million for District Chairperson (LC V) aspirants.
