The Minister of State for Disability and Elderly Affairs, Hon. Sarah Kanyike has today commenced monitoring of Government-funded Persons with Disabilities projects in the Mukono District and Municipality.
The groups received funding under the National Special Grants for Persons with Disabilities Program run by the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development.
Hon Kanyike added that there are about 7,000 beneficiaries now and the government invested in more than 3billion which has increased to 5billion this year
