Katushabe Sheebah student at Kigabagaba p/s in form 5 in Kikasti sub-county Nyabushozi County in kiruhura District is struggling for her life and her child after giving birth at age of 13.
Sheebah revealed to this website, that she got pregnant by an unknown man who got her from the bush on her way from school and raped her
At the time we reached their home we found her baby sleeping on a mart, in a small house which they share with her mum and her young sister who also sleep on the ground
She revealed that she doesn’t have milk to breastfeed her child and they didn’t have food at home to help her out of the situation they are in is worse
Her mother said that they are living in this situation because where they are living doesn’t belong to them due to issues surrounding their land which was taken by one of the tycoons in the areas and that they reported the matter to the police but they were not helped
