National Unity Platform Party leader Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine rallies all human rights defenders in the country and MPs across the political divine to reject a proposal by President Yoweri Museveni to outlaw bail for suspects in capital cases
The president earlier today said that he will have this matter handled politically and through the amendment of the constitution stressing that bail should not be a constitutional right
But Kyagulanyi says if this succeeds, it could lead to the reversal of many other fundamental rights and a return to a colonial setup
This as he addressed Journalists and other party leaders at the party headquarters in Kamwokya.
