The Bishop of Mityana diocese Rt Rev James Bukomeko Ssalango has tasked the Authorities to investigate and expose the person who influenced the appointment of Embattled Uganda Airlines CEO Jenifer Bamuturaki whose academic qualifications have been queried by the committee of commissions statutory authority and state enterprises.
Jennifer Bamuturaki CEO of Uganda Airlines has been in the spotlight over her appointment and academic Qualifications for the top job which prompted Joel Ssenyonyi to handover Jennifer Bamuturaki to police CID attached to parliament to investigate her academic documents after she failed to table her academic transcript from O level, A level, and university.
Today, during the thanksgiving ceremony of Joyce Bagala in Mityana, Rt. Rev James Bukomeko Ssalango tasked the nation to interest themselves in the appointment of Jenifer Bamuturaki who scooped the top Job without submitting her application forms.
Rt. Rev James Bukomeko Ssalongo ” We need to pray for this country, was watching news and saw a CEO of uganda Airlines being grilled over her academic Qualifications and she told the committee that they just called her on phone for the Job. The nation needs to know who influenced that appointment. They should investigate that person who made that call”.
Rt Rev James Bukomeko Ssalango had no mercy words to works and transport minister Katumba Wamala who attacked the committee of commissions statutory authority and state enterprises investigating Uganda Airlines as per the Auditor general’s report. Katumba Wamala is quoted to have wondered why such information has been exposed to the media.
Rt. Rev James Bukomeko Ssalongo ” some minister by the names Katumba Wamala wondered why such things have been exposed in the media that they give bad image to the country and Uganda Airlines”.
The development comes a few hours after Muk vice chancellor Barnabas Nawangwe during an exclusive interview with Nbstv denied knowledge of holding any academic transcript of Jenifer Bamuturaki and tasked her to pick them.
