It was all smiles at Ibanda Kibubura Integrated primary school, on Wednesday, as teachers, students and parents converged to celebrate the performance of the school in the 2021 Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) examinations.

IBKS which is ranked among the top five schools in the Ibanda district has consistently proved itself an academic powerhouse although it admits all types of students, some of whom have had weak foundations.

Speaking at the thanksgiving ceremony held at IBKPS, Rt. Rev. Amos Magezi the bishop of Northwest Ankole diocese who presided over the event, said it’s so important to celebrate the victory and any milestone we achieve in life but not forget that all success comes from the Lord.

 “I am so glad that the school could organize this thanksgiving for the children and parents to able to celebrate the victory that God gave them. It is very important that we celebrate our victory,” Said Bishop Magezi

Staff Members who were rewarded

Benon Kamu Atuzarirwe, attributed the good academic performance to God’s great mercy, dedicated teachers, highly disciplined and God-fearing students, and an enabling academic environment.

Kaamu also has parents and school management for their continuous support which has transformed the school to become the academic giant in the district.

About Kibubura Girls school.

Founded by COU in 1912, it is one of the oldest institutions in southwestern Uganda.

It is located half a kilometer on Ibanda – Kagongo road, Ibanda Cell, Kyaruhanga ward, Ibanda Municipality Ibanda District.

The school in the last one hundred-plus years has produced responsible and Productive men and women who have greatly contributed to the development of Ibanda and Uganda at large.

Academic excellence Co-curricular activities, moral development, and a habitable Environment are key areas of the school’s aspirations.
