M-Cash Uganda is honored with the prestigious PayTech award by Fintech Futures for the Best Contribution to Economic Mobility in Payments in Uganda, with its innovative E-Voucher system.
The award was received by M-Cash’s CEO and Founder, Mrs. Edith G. Kutesa at the Merchant Taylor’s Hall in London. It was unveiled to their key partners celebrating with M-Cash staff at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Kampala.
Mrs. Kutesa said that this recognition is a significant milestone for their community, and they are incredibly proud of this achievement
“The Paytech Award is an important recognition of mcash Uganda’s commitment to products such as M-Cash Wallet, which allows Cash in/Cash out and transfer, VAS, which sees Utility Payments, PayTV, PayTax, Airtime, M-Cash, for Bulk Payments, Bulk Collections (API and Merchant Code Channels) and Last Mile Solutions, including Agency banking, E-KYC, Agrilink – E-Commence, E-Voucher, Farmer Traceability and SACCO Management. These are intended to Bring Banking Closer to you”.Mrs Kutesa said.
She added that their solutions serve farmers, M-Cash brings the unbanked to banking services, allowing users to access formal financial services that were previously inaccessible to them.
She stated they are incredibly proud of this achievement and grateful for the support of the Government of Uganda, the World Bank, our partners, and most importantly their clients.
She said that this award is a testament to the trust and confidence you have placed in us, and we are committed to continuing to deliver unparalleled excellence to the underserved.
