Leaders from Mbarara City who participated in the last NRM Primaries have come together for harmony and formed a group to bring together all those that never went through but loyal to the party.
According to Jolly Kagira Tumwine who was the aspiring Woman MP Mbarara City also acting as the Chairperson Mbarara NRM Loyal Cadres 2020 said that this to provide our party members a platform to unite together and bring members on board to solicit more support for the incumbent who is the NRM Presidential Aspirant.
In her address to the members, she promised to do whatever it takes to make sure that YK Museveni should get more than 90%.
The launch was chaired by the Resident District Commissioner for Mbarara City Col. James Mwesigye who appreciated their efforts and promised them that they will support the initiative in whatever they do and in prospering their mission.
According to Polly Katwire, the Mbarara City NRM General Secretary tasked members and other NRM Groups around the City to come together as one and all to have one voice. “Members should be aware of the NRM achievements around their places of jurisdiction not only mentioning information that is not researched.
Various members from all political corners graced the occasion that included NRM Secretary General Mbarara City Polly Katwire, NRM Mobiliser John Turinawe, and Can. Joselyn Mama Kyama.
