Kampala
Ministry of Health reports a reduction of confirmed cases of COVID 19 from 1,735 cases per day at the start of the lockdown to now 295 cases.
Minister of Health Jane Ruth Aceng says that although there is a steady drop in the number of confirmed cases mortality continues to occur among the severe and critically ill who reach the Hospital late.
Aceng says that government will continue providing information, appropriate care, and treatment to those that fall ill adding that President Yoweri Museveni will on Saturday address the nation on a further course of action after the 42 days of Lockdown.
She emphasizes that the Lockdown is not ending on Thursday but Friday the 30th of this month.
