The Democratic Party defends the Inter Party Organization for Dialogue (IPOD), saying it is the key medium for political parties to do dialogue after the failure of several mechanisms to achieve a change of power.
Recently the National Unity Platform declined to join IPOD saying it has been used to legitimize a brutal regime
But DP Secretary Gerald Siranda says the table of discussion cannot be closed.
