Important to note is the vivid authenticity that the world has become a global village in the sense that what affects one country affects another in one way or another
In the sequel to this, I have keenly been following comments of African nationals on issues concerning the Russia – Ukraine war.
This brings us to the analogy of the monkey and the burning forest. The monkey happily laughed at the burning forest deep down the valley forgetting that soon this fire would gut the whole forest and it would eventually lack where to hide and stay. In the same way, whoever despises what is happening in Ukraine forgets that it soon will catch up with everyone hence rendering the whole world helpless at a given time. Today it is Ukraine; tomorrow it may be another country.
If Russia is allowed to conquer Ukraine as opposed to UN territorial chatter, it will set a very bad precedent and thus render the UN useless. This will open a door for world catastrophe.
I, therefore, call upon world powers to gang against Russian impunity. Russia should be taught a lesson that it can hardly exist in isolation.
Just like Russia wouldn’t wish to lose any inch of its sovereign land, no other country would wish so.
I, therefore, call upon all men and women of good hearts to join me and we pray for Ukraine and join efforts to promote world peace and harmony. Let us condemn and stop the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
There is nothing good that comes out of wars. Putin’s ambitions of conquering Ukraine and creating a great empire will lead him to self-alienation. Atrocities committed will haunt him as long as he lives.
Bloodshed and cries of innocent sons and daughters of Ukraine will serve as a pinch in the hearts and minds of traitors.
David defeated Goliath by God’s grace. The same God still lives and watches over us all. One day, he will work in Ukraine’s favor.
As I draw towards the end, allow me to take this golden opportunity to thank all nations that have stood with and come to Ukraine’s rescue. May the good Lord reward you abundantly.
Together, let’s fight against hypocrisy, impunity, selfishness, self-centeredness, and hatred.
