Kampala
Government dismisses accusations that it has been repackaging goods imported from abroad for re-export within the East African Community.
Trade, Industry, and Cooperatives Minister Amelia Anne Kyambadde says that Uganda has respected the rules within the East African community and is open to any form of verification.
This as she addressed Journalists at the Media Centre.
Meanwhile, Government is urging Ugandans to support efforts to link infrastructure with the DRC.
Last year, the Government of Ugandan entered an MoU with the DRC Government in which Uganda would fund construction of roads in DRC prompting protests from some circles.
Minister Kyambadde says the infrastructure will benefit Ugandans more.
