The Democratic Party women’s league has given an ultimatum of 3 weeks to the government to release all those who were arrested during and after general elections.
Deputy Secretary-General party Owen. Mugerwa kasule notes that many youths were arrested and others killed during campaigns because of their political affiliations.
She says if the government fails to adhere to their calls, they will peacefully match to statehouse before the women’s day that’s celebrated on 8th March.
