Lakai Woman Juliet kinyamatama has today announced her bid to contest for being the speaker of parliament.
Kinyamatama is who is well known to be a good friend of the deputy speaker and at the same time, the second woman to join the race has revealed that there is no friendship when it comes to building up an institution like parliament.
She added that most of the time new MPs have not been given a chance to talk in the house because they are being covered up by the old MPs the thing that she wants to change.
She also revealed that she will bring closer the picture of parliament closer to the public by addressing them every after quoter concerning work done by parliament.
Kinyamatama who bounced back as independent after being trounced down in deadly NRM primaries that were held last year is the second woman to join the speakership race a few weeks after the current speaker Rebecca Kadaga had announced to
retain her seat and the two will face off with one man from Omoro who is the current Dep Speaker Jacob Oulanya.
