The government issues new strategic directives to local governments across the country for the implementation of the 2022/23 budget.
These include Restoring business activity and deepening financial inclusion in government programs, fostering agro-industrialization, enhancing wellbeing interventions like vaccine programs, and ensuring public sector effectiveness and efficiency.
The state minister for finance in charge of microfinance Haruna Kasolo communicated this to local government leaders during a regional budget consultative workshop in Mukono.
