The First Lady Janet Kataha Museveni urges the marrying young couples in this generation to uphold values of marriage and Christian morals to deal with storms of life.
She made the remarks at the wedding church ceremony Apostle John Bunjo’s son Jojo Bunjo weds his Fiancee Ruth at victory Christian center Church -Ndeba in her speech read by the minister of state for Industry David Bahati.
At this wedding that reunited pastor Jackson Ssenyonga of Christian Life Church and Apostle Joseph Sserwadda of Victory Christian church, the First Lady says that the effectiveness, happiness, and success of children depend on how the family brings them up like going to church with them and are taught values at a young age and grow up as good individuals in the society.
She urged the couple to put each other’s needs above their own to show commitment in marriage partnership through exercising patience
She also asked the couple to continue with the strong Christian morals and faith to help them to deal with the storms of life.
The Christian Life Church pastor who was the key preacher at this wedding, Jackson Senyonga said that was honored to return to Apostle Dr. Joseph Sserwada’s church where he used to be when still a good preacher was.
He said that they need to reconcile so as he becomes a regular preacher at Sserwada’s church who has been a father to many of the pastors.
