The former Minister for general duties in the OPM and former legislator Hon Tarsis Kabwegyere urged voters to support president Museveni If they only still want a progressive Uganda.
“Support president Museveni, support me if you want development because NRM is strong and our opponents are becoming weaker,” he said.
Kabwegyere lost to Kasambya MP Hon Mbwatekamwa Gaffa in the recent NRM primaries mentioned that he is still an NRM Cadre in Uganda.
The Electro Commission office in Bushenyi Nominated five candidates from different parties who are fighting for the same seat. They include Professor Kabwegyere Independent, Katana Brian (FDC), Mbwatekamwa Gaffa (NRM), Tumutegyereize Onesmas (Independent), and Nayebare Juma Independent.
Kabwegyere later officially opened his election campaign for the 2021-26 general elections and promised to follow the NRM Manifesto for 2021-2026.
