The former Chairperson LC 5 for Kabale district also the Commissioner Planning Ministry of Health Dr. Francis Runumi has narrated to the media that those saying Covid-19 is not their they are just joking with life.
In his message that he applauded to his supporters, he cautioned those who do not take preventive measures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that they will be in trouble once this deadly flu attacks their life.
It is said that Dr. Francis Runumi had spent not more than three weeks at Mulago hospital where he was admitted and later taken to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
In his words, to the public, Runumi said these hurting words and appreciative “God has given me a lease of life again. Today I leave Mulago healed after battling Corona, which some people still take to be a quasi-joke. It is not a joke. You will be picked, isolated, and paralyzed as Prof. Nsibambi used to emphasize to stubborn people. Don’t be a statistic in its line of duty. It is dead serious when you start adoring the free oxygen you are breathing right now. You will be alone with that phone as the only window to the dearest.

I am so heavily indebted to you all. For the medics in Entebbe and Mulago, the job you are doing is simply incredible. Too much to say here but not now thank you are healed” Runuumi’s words
