The speaker of parliament Jacob Oulanyah has apologized to whoever he wronged while campaigning for the post of the speaker.
He made the remarks soon after meeting with the Clerk to parliament and directors at their workplaces of parliament.
He said that parliament is not a place for any individual member of parliament but it’s for the people of Uganda and there should be small differences that should not be affecting what they must do.
He said that the purpose of which they exist in parliament as an institution is bigger than the individual issues and differences.
He sought apology if anyone did wrong things on behalf of him beyond the limit.
He asked staff to release all the positive energy they have while serving parliament.
