Private Schools proprietors have written to both the Ministry of Health and that of Education promising to offer a hand as the government hopes to vaccinate school going children against Covid19.
Government is mooting plans to vaccinate young children with the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine that was recently approved for use in children aged 12 to 15 years by the UK and European Union.
The Spokesman Proprietors of Private Education Institutions in Uganda Kaweesa Kiwanuka Christopher said they have written to both Ministries as a measure to fast track the vaccination programme.
The association says they also written to the Bank of Uganda seeking more time of repayment of loans acquired by some institutions
