Minister of security Jim Muhwezi says that the murder of OC of Ruharo police post in Mbarara City Richard Agaba is similar to murder incidents that have been happening in greater Masaka.
Yesterday night unknown assailants killed Richard Agaba when he fell into an ambush of armed thugs as he was doing patrol in the area.
The Mbarara North Member of Parliament Robert Mwesigwa Rukaari while raising the matter before parliament asked the ministers in charge of security to take action on the murder of the officer saying that they would not like to see what Is happening in Masaka to reach Mbarara City.
Jim Muhwezi in response confirmed that the incident in Mbarara is similar to what has been happening in greater Masaka and has promised to come with a comprehensive report on the security situation in different parts of the country.
