The legislator for Buyaga East County in Kagadi District has joined the list of facing off for the deputy speaker race. Speaking to this website he revealed that he has joined this race to influence the good quality of the debate on the flow of parliament and introduce other systems which will help in inducting and teaching new MPS norms of parliament to avoid future uncertainties of having MPs who don’t speak in parliament.
He also added that he wants to make a record to be the first speaker from Bunyoro Region because ever since parliament was established in 1962 it has never had a speaker from the Bunyoro region and yet they qualify for this position and that time has come and it’s now.
Hon Eric Musana studied in Mambugu primary school for his PLE, Mabaale S.S for UACE, St. Edwards SS. Bukuumi, and Uganda Christian University for a degree in Mass communication.
He is the Director of Paradigm Institute of Business and Media Studies, Programmers director Kagadi Kibaale Community Radio.
He was also a lecturer at Uganda Rural Development and Training Institute.
He is expected to faceoff with the list of members of parliament that include Minister David Bahati Mp Ndorwa West, Hon Timothy Tayebwa Mp Ruhinda North, Robina Rwakoojo Mp Gomba West MP, Muhammed Nsereko MP for Kampala Central, Hon Bakunda Alex Mp Isingiro South, Mp Jacob Oboth Oboth West Budama, Mp Theodore Sekikubo Mp Rwemiyaga, Mp Anita Among and others.
