The State House Health Monitoring Unit burst a racket that had been forging COVID-19 vaccination certificates and found that the group was also involved in forging other important documents to facilitate travel abroad.
According to the health monitoring unit, those arrested are workers of Al-Suhudi Labor Export Company located along Salama Road in Makindye Division.
They include a receptionist, Shamilah Rashid, Abdallah Wanagoli, and Mahamood Kakande, who were picked up from the 4th floor of Marias Galleria, where they were printing out the forged documents.
A further search unearthed other forged documents, according to the public relations officer at the Unit Phiona Abassa.
The head of the unit, Dr. Warren Namara, says that this matter needs further investigation.
